Spring at Herne Bay

This morning I ventured down a little path to the beach at Herne Bay and found a gorgeous wee bay that I didn’t even know existed.  It was an amazing spring day, warm and sunny and still, and I spent over an hour just sitting in the sun reading my book.  I think I should make it my mission, on days when I’m fit and well, to find new places I’ve never been.  Should be easy, Auckland’s a big city.

This photo is seriously unflattering, the perspective makes me look like I have a pin head and a giant body, but I still like it.
