Muriwai

Today we went to Muriwai, a west coast beach very popular with surfers.  There is also a gannet colony there, but since we had Bess we didn’t venture up the cliff face to visit it.  We did have lunch at the cafe, which was lovely, and had a good climbing tree for Madeleine to stretch her legs, and even Lucia had a go at climbing it too. I didn’t take the camera, so the photos below are from my phone and not great quality, but you get the idea. Lulu loves running from waves.
