Little gloaty post

There is a chance that this blog could turn into a series of boastful posts about the weather in Auckland and all the wonderful outdoor activities we get up to as a result.  For example, I could go on and on about lazy afternoons bobbing about on a lilo in our pool, while Madeleine gradually empties the pool by dive bombing me.  Or the hours spent lying in the shade of a pohutukawa tree at Pt Chevalier beach, reading the paper, while the girls splash about in the shallows after a picnic lunch.  Or warm evening barbeques of sausage and lamb, and in the case of Lucia, carrot sticks dipped in lashings of tomato sauce.

But I guess those sorts of posts might be a little tedious, so I won’t do that.  Or if I do, I’ll throw in something else to balance it out a little.  So here goes: I had to run around the house after the barbeque with a can of fly spray to kill all the little intruders who turned up to the barbeque.  Aaah, its a hard life.
